ERP Pre-Selection
- Do I want a (new) ERP system for the right reasons? Do i really need one?
- How do I prepare for selecting and implementing an ERP?

- We already did an ERP implementation in the past, so i know where it goes wrong and therefore we know how it is done right.
ERP Selection
- We saw some good functionality that will match our business needs in a demo, so no further questioning is needed to check how this will be delivered to me at what time and cost, before signing a contract with the Software Vendor.
- We heard ERP selection and implementation takes a long time, therefore we will do it quickly
- I think we can just move quickly and select the ERP software without thorough analysis in the beginning. We trust the Software Vendor will help us along the way if trouble arises and we will manage this.
ERP Implementation
- When I want the implementation to be done in 6 months and the Software Vendor tells me it can be done in that time, this is all I need to know about timing and it will be done in 6 months.
- The people in my company that are less occupied, can be busy with the ERP project in order to run my normal business smoothly during the ERP implementation.
- We must make sure that technically the implementation is a succes, the rest will follow. If the system does what it should, people will be happy.
- In the beginning it is not necessary to know all the details, these will become clear and the Software Vendor is going to help me incorporate them within the time that was agreed
